Advice on Booking
strongly advise taking out comprehensive travel insurance to cover
any possible cancellation costs due to ill health etc. We would try to
rebook the holiday and return any monies we make from rebooking. Car
ferry fares booked via us are normally refundable in full if cancelled,
even shortly before travel date.

Stable Self Catering Cottage
have returned all payments immediately on request where affected by
Coronavirus problems, only the ferry refund has been a problem, where
they have been slow to refund but do refund.
- Deposits are set at 25% at time of booking holiday.
- Departure time on leaving day is 10.00, arrival time is 16.00 currently.

naked flames, such as candles etc.

people to look after our property, we do all the cleaning, it's a holiday after all.

property is not fully fenced off , so is not ideally suited to
upstairs is open to the stairs the only door is to
bathroom (no stair gate, or suitable anchor point).
stable flooring is almost all varnished pine, if you could please not
wear walking boots in the stable, it would be appreciated - thank you

take any breakage deposit as yet but do expect any damages to be paid
for before leaving property.

cheque deposit or bank transfer made out to Vanessa Mills is required initially to
confirm booking or you can use bank transfer or cheque payments. Final
balance required six weeks before arrival.
- We can get discounted car ferry
tickets which are charged in full at time of booking ferry, we can
amend tickets if necessary and if the holiday is cancelled for any
reason we can normally get the full cost refunded.
On receiving the deposit, we will send you a receipt and local map to
assist finding Carriers Stable in Brighstone.
- Shortly before arrival date we will
send you a 4 digit number and instructions to open the key lock (by
email) just in case we are not around when you arrive.
